Letters of Support Today

Welcome to the weekend and the post has dropped though the door.

We received letters of support today from David Cameron MP and Nick Clegg MP which was nice
We also received a lovely item from Bolton Wanders football Club signed by all the players and management which will be going in the auctions taking place during the Trekking for our Heroes walk.

We have also been getting loads of requests for application forms for Trekking for our Heroes which we have been Emailing out..

Wristbands

We have a lot of interest to see if we are going to do a wristband, well we will be doing one and are in talks with a number companies that can do this for us, so will update you when this is available. Also we are working on a t shirt for the trek as well.

On a great note today we passed the 2500 mark on followers which is amazing and thankyou all for that, but lets not forget to keep the word out there. if you wish to help us and your a business or single person we would love you to join this great and important cause.

UPDATE NEWS

Well welcome to a little update from Honour Our Forces.

In the last 24 hours we have welcomed over 1000 new followers, for that thankyou so much.

Today we have been in talks with a number of TV channels that are interested in making a series of programmes following Trekking for our Hero's which is great news.

We are talking to a major Daily newspapers that are interested coming on board more great news.

Billy has been in talks with a number of major recording Artists that have shown an interest in performing on the charity single and Video. which be amazing.

We are still looking for sponsors for Trek transport ie Motor home and also the Calender printing which will be sold from next year around the country in store, online, and during the Trek.

We keep you updated with all the news that is happening here and on twitter.

THE SINGLE

Hi Everyone.
Just a quick update on the Charity single and Video. The new arrangement is now in place, with just a few little tweeks needed. We are in discussions at present regarding the venue we will be using to record the video. Place and dates for this will be posted as soon as they have been confirmed. Part of the single will be recorded in a static studio and part will be mobile. As will be the filming. We have many Celebrities express their interest to be involved in the making and recording of the project, such as Shane Richie, Chesney Hawkes, Len Hawkes ( The Tremelos ), Bobby Ball, Russell Watson, The Blues Brothers, Status Quo, Richie Blackmore ( Rainbow ), Tony Hadley, Dame Shirley Bassey. Alexandra Burke, Ruth Lorenzo and many, many more. If you would like to be part of this fantastic project, or if you can contribute in any way, ie:- musically, technically, promoting, advertising, etc, etc. Then please contact us A.S.A.P. This a little update on what is happening with Honour Our Forces. We have recived letters from
Her Majesty the Queen wishing us well and also from Bobby Charlton too name 2.
Thing are going well with the Trekking for our Heroes in may next year and as you no if you email us we will send you out an application form.We are also in the progress over getting Honour our forces single recorded very soon which will be out to download from various places update soon.We have also have the Honour our Forces Calendars for 2010 which will be out just before Christmas so will make a nice Christmas Present.
During Trekking for our Heroes 2010 there will be music and comedy events taking place in a number of seaside towns and charity auctions and major celebrity starting all the legs of the walk.
We are also looking for sponsors in any shape that could help us so please if you can or you no of some please let us no...Thank you

Well hello again just a little update for you lovely followers..
Things are moving along very well now Application forms are now ready to be emailed out for you all to take part. if you wish also to help in anyway IE by sponsorship that would be great or a service you may be able to offer please contact us.
We are now starting also to talk to TV companies that may be interested in filming the trek for a TV series which is just amazing. we are very thankful to you all for taking the time to follow us.

Also i believe one of our twitter friends gave us a good plug on there radio show this evening (wed) which we thank him for.
As you can tell there is so much work still do but at the end of it all it all worth while as are service men and woman need our love and support.

Let me tell you about Trekking for Heros Starting May 2010

The event has been in the planning stages for 6mths.And is now ready to be put into action. The Marathon Relay Trek, proposes to start in BRIDLINGTON, and continue on in relays to designated coastal towns around the outer circumference of ENGLAND, WALES & SCOTLAND, and eventually finishing in BRIDLINGTON. Also a TREK around the ISLE OF MAN.We are looking for Co-Ordinators in all coastal counties and coastal towns on route. So if you are up for a good trek, and can organise a team from your area.
